Men are not the only

deadbeats.

"She" can be one too!

When you look at the deadbeat sites, ask yourself if you're behaving like a deadbeat, and remember that men are victims of  "her" deadbeat  mentality also.

Whether you are a custodial parent, a non-custodial parent, a first wife, a second wife, a girlfriend, a boyfriend, ask yourself if you're behaving in the best interest of the child.

dh - darling husband
bm - biomom
ss - stepson
sd - stepdaughter
dd - darling daughter
ds - darling son

Dh had custody of his son from age 9 months to age 5.  He  voluntarily gave up custody to his exwife when he lost his job and a place to live.  She lived with her parents in a nice neighborhood, and his son would start at a good kindergarten.  She and her parents severely restricted visitation for the next 5 years.

We started dating when ss was about 6 years old.

Court improved visitation '96 when he was 10 years old.

Bm wrote that he'd left 2 pairs of jeans.  Dds' and I searched. Found 2 pairs that didn't belong to them. Dh mailed them to bm.

Dh received Bm’s 4/28/97 letter about the 2 pairs of jeans are not ss’s, either find the right jeans or give her $40, and if he doesn’t - (ss) will lose $40 out of his allowance “…for your willful withholding of his belongings and spiteful game-playing.  It is not in (ss's) best interest to be punished for what you are doing and you shouldn’t want him to suffer for it.  It takes him a long time to save $40.00.  Think about that.” “(ss) could get his 40 dollars back if you would help him out a little.”

Ss receives an allowance of $2 a week from bm.

Dh wrote her he wasn't giving her the $40, and he has no control over how she treats ss.

The next time dh went to pick up ss, bm indignantly demanded the $40. Dh repeated, "I told you, I'm not giving you $40." Bm triumphantly turned to ss and told him, "You owe me $40!" Ss didn't care. He was so happy to be leaving with his dad he was jumping up and down from excitement.  The wind went out of bm's sails.

She didn't know that since visitation had been improved, ss was getting the same allowance my daughters get - their age in allowance every week.  He wasn't worried about the $40.
