Men are not the only

deadbeats.

"She" can be one too!

When you look at the deadbeat sites, ask yourself if you're behaving like a deadbeat, and remember that men are victims of  "her" deadbeat  mentality also.

Whether you are a custodial parent, a non-custodial parent, a first wife, a second wife, a girlfriend, a boyfriend, ask yourself if you're behaving in the best interest of the child.

Summer '99 The cat is supposed to come live with us.  Bm and her parents can't catch the cat.  We wait til the next pickup of ss.  The cat's not ready to go.   We stay in the car on the driveway as we watch bm, her parents, ss chase all over inside the house after the cat.  Cat's finally in the carrier.

Bm gives us a bag of special canned cat food, "This is the only food she'll eat."  They make sounds about how picky the cat is, that we must let her out of the house...

Hmphhh.  The cat's got no problem eating anything at our home.  We let the cat out of the house when we felt she was ready despite bm and her mother's many weeks of attempts to hurry us regarding that issue.

The cat was psycho for weeks, seemingly in fear often of being kicked or chased.  She never jumped on chairs or beds.  She was panic stricken when the door closed after she went outside, as tho she was in terror of being locked out for long periods of time.

She learned to trust us.  She's up on laps, chairs, beds, trusting she'll have a way back in to the house,  feeling at home.

The cat and all of our family have bonded *grin*.
